Women’s forest green crossover bag with gold chain.

This is a handmade, quilted, green shoulder bag with a pretty pink lining and a beautiful gold colour chain.

It measures approximately 11 inches wide by 8 inches tall and 3 inches deep at the base.

This is a unique, one of a kind piece made from fabric leftover from a jumpsuit that I made for a friend. The pieces I had leftover were so small that I patchworked them together to create a larger piece from which I could cut out this bag.

The bag is forest green in colour and quilted on the sewing machine with a foam interfacing giving it a sturdy but flexible structure. It’s fully lined in a contrasting pretty pink polyester satin fabric.

I make my own clothes and my goal is a 100% handmade wardrobe.  I’m currently about 60% there!  As a result I have lots of fabric scraps leftover and pieces of fabric which are kindly given to me but perhaps not suitable for dressmaking.  Instead of waste them I use them to make bags, clutches and wallets.

This bag is made using the Beijing Bag pattern from www.pinkponydesign.com

Shipping Policy

I will acknowledge your order as soon as I receive it and will let you know at that point, when it will be posted out to you. All my items are already made and ready to ship and I try my best to get them out to you as soon as I possibly can. This could be up to five working days following receipt of your order but often it will be much sooner than this. In rare and exceptional circumstances, if there is going to be a delay in posting your order which takes it over the five working days, I will let you know at the time of my acknowledgement email.

I post all items out via Royal Mail First Class and obtain a proof of posting note in case its required. Should you need a tracking number or if you need to receive your order by a certain date, please contact me prior to ordering.

Please note that I try to use recycled materials for my packaging, so please be aware that the box that your order arrives in may not be brand new but it will be packaged carefully and will contain a hand written note from me.

Refund Policy

I very much hope that you are happy with your order. However, if on receipt, it's not quite what you expected, or if you have changed your mind in some way, I do accept returns.

If either of these scenarios apply, please send me an email in the first instance to amy@dressbyamy.co.uk to let me know. Please do this as soon as possible and in all cases within 7 days of receiving your item. I will then provide you with full address details for the return and will ask that it is returned to me within 14 days. Unless the item is damaged or faulty, the cost of the return will be the responsibility of the buyer.

In the unlikely event that the item is damaged or faulty, please send clear photos in an email to amy@dressbyamy.co.uk so that we can discuss how best to deal with the situation.
