Wall sconce

I have designed and created this wall sconce in my forge in Warwickshire, I’ve mounted the metalwork onto a piece of reclaimed oak. The sconce measures 41cm high, 10cm wide and 13cm deep. The oak board is 41 high, 20 wide and 2 deep, the sconce can be removed from the backboard by undoing 2 screws, it can then be mounted directly onto a wall.

The plate for the candle doesn’t have a spike on it, I haven’t put one on as I haven’t found many candle with holes in the bottom, I tend to melt some wax onto the plate and the candle sticks securely to that.
