Tartan Moon – Cross Stitch Embroidery Craft Box Kit

This design uses full and half cross stitches. The backstitching gives the effect of pencil sketching and includes little Blackwork embroidery motif details in the moon.

This design could easily also be stitched in colour choices to suit your own taste or occasion.

The kit comes with full instructions, materials (listed below) and a free ‘Beginner Instruction Stitching Guide’ – taking you through the stitching basics (using backstitch or Holbein – double running stitch) to help you recreate this pattern.

Design size:

Stitches – 47 wide x 51 high
Stitched size 9.0cm (3.5″) x 9.0cm (3.5″) – 28 count Evenweave (Preferred to 14 count Aida due to small half cross stitches and back stitches).
(Extra fabric allowance included for tensioning in hoop/ frame whilst stitching, and for mounting the finished item).
