Swimmer at Plymouth Devon Tea Towel by Hannah Wisdom Textiles

This lovely cotton tea towel is printed with one of my popular textile art designs, which are created by sewing recycled fabrics onto old admiralty sea charts, or in this case, a vintage ordnance survey map.

Note: The charts often have blemishes from their previous lives, which add to the sense of history and timelessness – this old map had a crease through the centre after years of storage and use, and this has been faithfully reproduced into my finished image!

Its a lovely generous size at about 43 x 72cm.
