Weirdness can sometimes get a bad rap but I think it is something to be embraced and celebrated! And now you can proclaim your own unique brand of weirdness to the world with this sassy and vibrant speech bubble brooch.

I have so much fun designing my jewellery and accessories as I hope you can tell, but these speech bubble brooches have to be my absolute favourite. I love brainstorming new phrases to put on them and even have notepad on my phone specifically for this purpose because you never know when inspiration might strike!
Once I have settled on a phrase the next fun job I have, is to select the perfect fabric design from my selection of patterns I have created myself. Then it’s off to work cutting the faux leather fabric to shape, hand embellishing the bare edges for yet more colour. Next it’s time to laser cut the wood – an eco friendly plywood consisting of birch and poplar wood – and then 3 light coats of this lovely water-based metallic purple wood paint. This gives me a lovely even sheen whilst allowing the woodgrain to still be visible. The best of both worlds! Finally I attach 2 lockable brooch pins between the fabric and wood – as seen in the 3rd photo – to really secure it in place. And now it’s all ready for you to wear with pride.

Please note postage is free. Your parcel will be sent out to you using Royal Mail Tracked 48. The postal boxes I use will fit through a standard letter box, so no waiting around for the postman required.
