Mokume Gane and Silver statement ring with 18ct Gold detail.

This is an absolutely gorgeous Mokume Gane and Sterling Silver ring which has been soldered with 18ct Yellow Gold.

This is a very unique ring made from a very unusual and rarely seen product. (*See details below)

The sank / back of the ring is comprised of 1cm deep Mokume Gane, and the front of the ring is comprised of a circle of hammered Sterling Silver measuring 2.2cm x 2.2cm
The two components have been joined using 18ct Yellow Gold solder which has been left visible for added affect.

* Mokume Gane is a Japanese metalsmithing technique, where several alternating layers of metal are fused or soldered together before manipulating by hand to reveal complex patterns, similar to that of wood grain. This Silver Mokume Gane pattern sheet features a single top layer of copper pattern, recreating the complex flowing patterns found in Mokume Gane.
