This beautiful christmas decoration is a star gazing hare wool sculpture and is handcrafted with core british wool and finished in a soft blend of rare breed natural manx loaghtan fleece and is mounted on an oak slice.
His whiskers are horse hair and his christmas hat is finished with texel fleece.

A gorgeous ‘moorit’ brown hare mounted on hand sawn oak plinth. Handmade using the needle felting technique of transforming wool into 3D sculptures. Each item is unique and develops it’s own little character as it takes shape over many hours of stabbing thousands of times. Sharp barbed needles as used to twist, condense and press the raw carded wool fibres tightly together to create the shape.
He has stepped outside of a party for a quick gaze at the moon in his christmas hat which is finished with texel fleece from an enormous ram at a friend’s farm locally. Whiskers made with horse hair kindly donated by April the pony in return for a carrot!

Shipping Policy
All purchases will be carefully packed and sent in a mailing box.
Shipping within the UK is via Royal Mail Second Class with an optional upgrade available for an additional charge at checkout if required. Please contact me with any requests not met at checkout and I will try and help.
If you would like posting to other countries please contact me and I will give you a postage quote.
The environment is important to me so paper tape,recyclable brown parcel paper is used and on occasion OUTER packaging may be reused. Rest assured your inner wrapping will be new!
Gift wrapping is available as an optional extra at checkout.
Items will normally be processed and despatched within 1-2 working days. If, for whatever reason, there is any likelihood that this could be extended then the customer will be contacted.
Any upgrades in postage chosen by a customer will be for the purposes of achieving higher priority and more accurate tracking within the Royal Mail system itself, rather than a faster processing time from me as a seller.
Please be aware that I am unable to guarantee specific delivery times of orders once posted, regardless of shipping method chosen.
Refund Policy
Getting it right for my customers is essential. I take great care in everything I create and customer satisfaction is hugely important to me. If there are any problems with an order then please don’t hesitate to contact me straight away and we can discuss how I may best help resolve the situation.
If you are not happy with anything you have purchased I am more than happy to accept returns and a refund or exchange can be arranged - providing that items are returned in their original condition and packaging.
Please let me know of your intention to return an item within 14 days of receiving it. Shipping costs cannot be refunded unless an item is faulty.
Please remember that hand spun/ woven/ needlefelted items will of course vary due to the nature of it being handmade and colours can be affected by different screens.
