Ammonites are an extinct group of mollusk animals that are closely related to octopuses and squid. They roamed the seas for 350 million years but have extinct for 65 million years during the Cretaceous period. They are said to assist with emotional health.

All of my pieces are designed and handmade entirely by me in my workshop in Oxfordshire. As they are all created by hand, all of my pieces are completely unique. This ring will come packed in an eco-friendly gift box and will be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery to ensure it arrives quickly and safely.

This ring has been fully hallmarked by the Edinburgh Assay Office.

Refund Policy

Hopefully you will be delighted with your purchase. Part of the beauty of handcrafted jewellery is that often you are able to see some of the marks left by the tools used to create them, and the gemstones can hold natural inclusions or flaws which add to their perfectly imperfect charm.

Every possible care will be taken to ensure that your jewellery arrives safely, but if there has been damage caused in transit please contact me at contact@makeastatementjewellery.co.uk straight away to discuss.

Requests for a refund must be made within 14 days of receiving the item, and once confirmed, the item must be returned in its original condition and original packaging within 30 days of receiving it. Please include proof of purchase. If the item is not returned in its original unworn condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. The jewellery remains your responsibility until it reaches me, so I recommend that you send the parcel using a trackable service such as the Royal Mail Special Delivery (insured) service. I cannot be held responsible for returns that are lost in transit. You will be notified once the item has been received and inspected, and I will let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you will be automatically refunded by your original payment method.

I will be unable to provide refunds or replacements where damage has been caused by accident, neglect or misuse.

Unfortunately, earrings cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged for hygiene reasons. Custom orders or commissions (i.e. those made to a requested size not generally listed on the website or with personalisation) may not be eligible for refund or exchange

Exchanges are not accepted. However, if you would like a different item you can follow the returns process outlined above and, once the return is accepted, you can make a separate purchase of a new item.

To start a return, please email contact@makeastatementjewellery.co.uk stating your name, address, details of the product and the reason for the return. If your return is accepted, you will be sent instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to me without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
