I have formed silver filled wire into a dragonfly shaped using wire wrapping techniques. The shapes are gently hammered to strengthen. I have created a rose swirl design for the centre, added a rondelle crystal bead at the top (blue, red or clear) and a wrapped loop to finish. Pretty sparkling crystal bicone beads in shades of blue, shades of green or shades of red and pink are added for the tail with silver, rosaline or green coloured seed beads in between and a swirl at the end to finish. Each dragonfly is created individually by hand so each one will be slightly different and unique.
The pendants are presented on a handmade faux suede necklace in black with silver filled wire at the ends and a silver plated lobster clasp for fastening. A very light and comfortable necklace to wear.

Silver Filled Wire
Silver filled wire is 10% sterling silver filled copper wire (sterling silver bonded to a copper centre). It has a much thicker layer of sterling silver than silver plated wire and is more durable.
