This handmade sea glass pendant necklace has been made from an unusual find from Barton-on-Sea in Hampshire  – I don’t tend to find such old pieces on the local beaches. This solid piece of bright green sea glass is a fine example of long-aged sea glass – with inner bubbles, and surface texture, including the ‘c’ shape markings of truly well worn and weathered glass.  This piece was a slightly irregular shape, which made it slightly more challenging to use, but by drilling a hole to create a ‘bead’ and wrapping the tip with fine silver wire has enabled the rest of the piece to shine as a gloriously green silver topped pendant.

The pendant hangs from a sterling silver chain.  An easy to wear piece for beach and sea-glass lovers everywhere, and with its bright green colour, a great gift Christmas or to wear to a festive party!

• Sea glass measures 2cm x 1.6cm
• Sterling silver chain measures 45cm (18 inches) including clasp.

As standard, and included in the price, all items are wrapped in pale green tissue paper tied with linen thread and placed in a recycled kraft pillow box.  Items are placed in a wood-shaving filled recycled cardboard box and shipped Royal Mail Tracked 24.    Additional gift wrapping options are available, as above, and alternative postage options are available on request.

COMMISSIONS:  You may also like to know that I love taking special requests and commissions – perhaps to celebrate a special birthday or event, or maybe just to turn a favourite ‘something’ you have collected into a piece of jewellery you can wear.   So if you’d like to talk about creating something truly unique and bespoke for you or someone in your life please do get in touch, I’d love to help. Previous commissions have included turning a customer’s own sea-glass into a necklace, handcrafting a Bramble flower for a 21st birthday, recreating a dangly Catkin for a favourite sister or some coffee bean earrings for a Barista.   It’s also worth knowing that commissions don’t necessarily cost more than items in the shop – it depends what you have in mind – so it’s always worth a no-strings chat.

Shipping & Packaging Information

Items will be processed and despatched within 3 working days and shipped by Royal Mail Tracked 24 as standard. Shipping is not included in the price of purchases unless stated otherwise. I am happy to upgrade to special delivery at the appropriate additional cost.

I aim to minimise the amount of packaging I use when sending items to reduce waste, whilst also seeking to present the everyday treasures beautifully, and to treat the jewellery as the delicate and beautiful treasure it is, ensuring its safe passage through the British postal system!
All materials used for gift wrapping and packing are made from recycled and/or recyclable materials, which are sustainably sourced and British made where possible!

Sounds obvious, but please carefully check that the details of the mailing address you have given are correct before confirming your order, especially if it is a gift and is being sent to an address that is different from the billing address.

All of my pieces are handmade with a lot of love and I take great pride in everything I make, and in seeing a smile on your face! I am a strong believer in hand-made meaning quality and also that because each piece is individually made by hand there sometimes may be irregularities on the surface reflecting the organic nature of the materials I work with , which creates truly one of a kind pieces.

I also know that occasionally things might go awry, and if you find that you have a problem with your item please contact me straight away so we can discuss how best to resolve the situation.
