About the artist

Lidia is a multidisciplinary British artist based in Lancaster, Lancashire in the NW of England, UK.

Bridging the gap between her background as a graphic designer to artist, she works in both traditional and digital mediums fusing her skills across a wide artistic spectrum to bring a variety of wonderful flat colour vector art, vibrant collages and paintings.

Lidia has always been inspired by the graphic artists of the early 20th century, including Tom Purvis and A. M Cassandre to name a few and has put her own stamp and style on a series of flat colour art from her favourite places, in and around her local area of Morecambe Bay and beyond.

Art Deco and Modernism is a very prominent theme in her flat colour work, and the series features many of the Art Deco lidos Lidia has visited and would love to visit once renovated.
