This pretty rainbow card is an English Pressed Flower PRINT, designed for the gardener. NB. There are NO real flowers on this card.
The card is blank inside allowing plenty of space for handwritten messages.
Embellished with 2 floragraphics butterflies for that touch of summer. Each butterfly will vary from card to card.
I created the original art work by hand from flowers I grow for pressing in Worcestershire. The design was then carefully scanned and printed on to my cards by production partners here in the UK.
The flowers I used to create the rainbow effect were red and orange verbena, yellow violas, green thalictrum leaves, blue forget-me-nots, indigo and violet verbena.
The quote “To Plant A Garden is to Believe in Tomorrow” by Audrey Hepburn, has been added to the back of the card.
