Plaid thistle Bolster cushion cover, Azure blue piped pillow cover, flower of Scotland thistle home decoration, check wool tweed thistle

A handmade thistle plaid wool Bolster cushion cover in an azure blue and green colouring with central thistle and check plaid wool fabric and a piped trim.

I used a stunning linen mix Voyage fabric azure blue thistle for the cushion covers centrepiece which I encased with check wool side panels in teal blue, red and mustard marl. The cover is edged with a dark teal blue cotton piping, which really highlights all the rich tones in the cushion.

For the back of the cover I used a co-ordinating sage green soft touch fabric and added to the back a central zip closure and one of my makers labels.

The finished cushion cover measures approx 19 1/2 inches/ 48 cm by 11 1/2 inch 28 cm. This listing is for the COVER ONLY. I recommend a 20 inch / 50cm by 12 inch / 30cm cushion insert for this cover which is very easy to source.

Wipe clean or dry clean only.
