This is a 24 cm square platter with a patchwork of colours together with small areas of multicoloured squashed glass. The squashed glass is made by stacking and sandwiching various coloured glass pieces between two kiln shelves and heating in the kiln to over 800 degrees so that the various coloured glass pieces ‘melt’ into each other and fuse to create a multi-layered almost 3D effect.

The various pieces of glass were then fused together before going back into the kiln to slump into this pleasing platter shape with gently curved corners which rise up to 3.5 cm.

Your dish will be wrapped in tissue paper and bubble wrap and then posted in a strong box.
