This unusual Kiln formed glass panel is mounted in an oak stand and is perfect to place on a windowsill or mantelpiece or on a side table beside a lamp where it will catch the light. No two pieces will ever be the same. Formed from decorated glass sheets cut into a patchwork puzzle and grouted with glass frit. I love making these panels as no too are ever the same. I first make patterned sheets in three complementary colours using glass powders and frits and fire in a kiln. These sheets are then cut in a patchwork puzzle and tack fused to a clear base sheet before being “grouted” with a powder frit mix and being fired a third time. available in Red/green/purple, Garnet/Blue and Red/Lime/Purple.
