Origami paper rose in support of Sands for Baby Loss Awareness

£14.50

A unique origami rose in support of Sands, designed by Amy at Hello Treacle and hand crafted by Amanda at Origami Blooms. These beautiful paper flowers were created for Baby Loss Awareness Week 2020, with £2 from each sale being donated to Sands Stillbirth and Neonatal Death charity for the incredible and vital work that they do. The roses are limited edition.

It’s a truly special gift: a one-of-a-kind origami rose with origami leaves, completely handmade. Look more closely and you’ll notice the intricate folds and curves and the rainbow with a heart in the centre.

The text on the rose was created with baby loss in mind. It’s repeated four times and reads:

“I will always love you. I will never forget you. I wonder who you’d have been. I wonder what your touch would have felt like, what your laugh would have sounded like. I wonder what would have been your favourite colour, or your favourite food. I wonder whether you’d have had my sense of humour or taste in music. I may never know the answer to these questions, but I will always dream about you. I will always wonder. I will always long for you and the hopes I had for you. And I will always, always love you. Always. I will never forget you.”

This single paper rose is made to order, and each origami flower, calyx and leaf is folded by hand from recycled paper, then attached to a textured covered wire stem to create a long lasting keepsake to cherish.

Height: 25-30cm (10-12 inches)
Diameter: 6-7cm (2.5 inches)
Size may vary slightly. Every flower is crafted by hand from a single piece of paper so each bloom is unique.

Made to order. Please allow one week for your rose to be made and shipped. Orders are shipped first class in the UK and tracked to the rest of the world.
