Here is one UK species of nuthatch, with a second in Europe and a few elsewhere. The UK species is a woodland bird, always associated with trees or tall bushes. It has the unique habit in the UK of plastering mud around the entrance to its nest hole
The bird is produced by cutting the bird shape out of fusing glass, then different coloured glass powder is used to produce the colouring of the particular bird, its then fused at a high temperature to melt to the clear glass, then the wing and eye is added and fused again, legs and a cord it added to enable it to be hung inside or outside.
Each bird is unique no two birds will be exact.
