This sculpture is made on a wire armature and although very densely needle felted it is still possible to position his head and legs a little. The wool fibre used is initially a core wool then a mix of Blue Leicester and Alpaca for the top coat. I have used a type of clay for the claws and then painted them, as well as glass bead eyes.
The base is foam that has been covered in needle felted wool fibre.
This sculpture is 6″ across an 6″ in height overall.
