Mermaid wire sculpture – striking a relaxing pose on the shoreline, perhaps getting some sunshine, or just taking a break before diving back into the deep ocean.
‘March’ is a mermaid and is made entirely from copper coloured wire with shades of blue and green coloured wire for her flowing hair. The sculpture starts life as a stick figure, and then is built up over several hours by adding wire to make the shape of the body and tail. The coloured wire for the hair is added a strand at a time and formed into a gorgeous ponytail.
The sculpture is approx 4.5 inches high by 4.5 inches wide and about 9 inches in length.
For indoor display only, the wire will tarnish and change colour over time, particularly on exposure to sunlight or if displayed in a damp area. Every care has been taken to tuck in the exposed wire ends, however there may still be some sharp ends which may scratch surfaces or skin, so care should be taken on placing and handling.
This item is not a toy, is not poseable and is for decorative purposes only. Please keep away from young children.

’March’ mermaid wire sculpture is made entirely by hand using copper coloured wire and shades of green and blue coloured wire for her flowing hair. Initially, a stick figure frame is created and then over several hours, copper coloured wire of different thicknesses is added to the frame to build up the figure and ultimately form the features of a mermaid. Each hair strand is added individually and curled into a ponytail most of us girls would love!

Every care has been taken to tuck in the exposed wire ends, however there may still be some sharp ends that could cause a scratch to a surface or skin so please do take care when handling and placing your sculpture.
This sculpture is for indoor display only. It is not a toy, it is not poseable and is not suitable for young children.
The wire will tarnish and change colour over time, particularly if displayed in direct sunlight or in damp conditions. To clean your sculpture, I recommend either a feather duster or a quick blast with the hairdryer to remove any dust. Don’t attempt to polish or rub the sculpture as this will result in damage.
