This pretty Birthday Card for Mam is an English Pressed Flower PRINT, designed for the gardener. There are NO real flowers on this card.
Printed inside Happy Birthday.
Embellished inside with three ‘floragraphic’ butterflies adding a touch of summertime to the card.
I created the original art work for each of the letters by hand from flowers I grow for pressing in Worcestershire.
The designs were carefully scanned and then printed onto my cards by my production partners.
The names of some of the flowers I used to create the original design, including many cottage garden favourites, have been added to the back of the card.
