A delight to make, this piece is first made upside down. Glass powders are laid down in layers of colour and manipulated to create the cracks. it is capped with a 30cm piece of clear glass and fired in a glass kiln with a particular firing schedule to encourage the cracks to open up and create the pattern. Once smoothed on a glass grinder to soften the organic edge and sand blasted to smooth the surface it is fired a second time to slump into a mould to give the balance bowl shape. It will be sent by tracked Royal Mail which is included in the price. I only deliver within Great Britain
