Jewellery School – 4 day intensive course (10 – 4 pm each day)
This course is suitable for beginners and is a great introduction to jewellery making. Starting with using copper you will learn basic techniques such as how to anneal metal, filing, forming, cutting metal with a piercing saw, adding texture and soldering. The main project of this course is bezel setting however we will make several items from sterling silver.
This is a 4 day intensive course that includes the following projects with materials supplies-
Copper to practice initial techniques.
1 x simple silver ring
choose from 1 x silver ring using twisted wire (there are several designs to choose from) or 1 x wishbone ring.
1 x Bezel set ring or halo pendant –
All sterling silver plus a stone supplied (gemstone, sea glass or glass cabochon). You can choose to incorporate one of your silver rings and make a double halo pendant if you wish.
