Handmade framed Jane Austen stamps issued by Royal Mail in 2013 to commemorate the work of one of Britain’s most celebrated authors, celebrating the 200th anniversary of the publication of her most famous novel, Pride and Prejudice.
The six stamps depict her most popular novels, Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, Mansfield Park, Emma, Northanger Abbey and Persuasion. The stamps are in mint condition.
The stamps are mounted on white card and appear to “hover” above the card behind to emphasise the detail.
The white frame has a glass front, is 23.5cm x 18cm and 3cm deep, has a white mount and can be standing or wall hanging.
