Chestnut tree leaf suncatcher / conker leaf suncatcher made in amber stained glass by CarolesGlass.
As autumn is just around the corner the chestnut tree or conker tree as it is also known is the first to loose it’s leave. Here is a leaf made out of amber stained glass that you can hang in your window all year round.
Each piece of glass has been cut by hand, ground, washed and foiled sand soldered together. I have added veins to the leaves using tinned copper wire to make them look more lifelike. You can decide if you want to hang with the veins showing at the front or back.
The glass used in these suncatchers is as follows;
Top left amber corella glass – 15cms x 13.5cms (veins)
Top right amber, red, brown opaque glass – 13.5cms x 13cms (veins)
Bottom right amber sea glass – 13cms x 14cms (veins)
Bottom left amber crystal glass – 13cms x 12.5cms

I normally post the following working day and these will be sent using Royal Mail Tracked 24.

I normally post the following working day and these will be sent using Royal Mail Tracked 24.
I wrap each suncatcher with tissue, bubble wrap and corrugated card, I also include sheets of thick card for extra protection and then wrap with brown paper. The card I use is recycled from other packaging.
If you are buying as a gift and would like this to be gift wrapped and sent direct there is the option to select this from the add ons listed.

Shipping Policy
All items, excluding those made to order, are normally posted within two working days. I use Royal Mail for all my postings.
Method of posting will be as follows:
- Value up to £20.00 will be sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24 with no signature.
- Value £20.01 - £50.00 will be sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24 with no signature.
- Value £50.01 and above will be sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24 with Sighature.
- If you require Special Next Day Delivery where the item is guaranteed to be delivered by 1.00pm the following day (does not include Saturday / Sunday / Bank Holidays please contact me before ordering as this will incur an additional charge.
If you would like your item to be sent by Special Next Day Delivery please contact me prior to ordering so I can amend the postage.
Items made to order will normally be posted within 14 working days
Refund Policy
Please note items made to order and special orders are non refundable unless damaged when received.
If you are unhappy with your sunctcher or it is damaged upon receipt please contact me immediately and send photos of the damage.
The item must be returned in the original packaging within 14 days for a refund. Proof of posting is recommenced for your benefit. Once received I will be able to action a refund.
Please be aware that as these items are made from glass they need to be well packaged otherwise there is the risk of breakage during posting.
