Each hat is handmade to order and is finished with a hand-stitched band seam for a flawless finish.

🤍 SIZING
A classic 8-panel baker boy hat with central button and peak, the hat is suitable for both men and women and is also available in child sizes on request. To find your size, measure around your head where you wish the hat band to sit. If you tuck your ears into your hat, make sure to measure around your ears too. Don’t pull too tight as you want a secure yet comfortable fit! The sizes given correspond to the hat band measurement, so is the largest possible head size that will fit, though I recommend choosing a size 1/4″ larger than your head measurement for the most comfortable fit.
🤍 BEST OF BRITISH
When designing this hat, I couldn’t resist pairing two of the most renowned British fabrics. Harris Tweed is handwoven by islanders on the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. It is so desirable that in 1993 an Act of Parliament was passed to protect the traditional manufacturing process, ensuring that each length of Harris Tweed fabric was made of 100% pure new wool which is spun and woven on looms within the islanders home. It remains the only fabric in the world to be protected by an Act of Parliament, and has to be inspected before getting the ‘orb’ mark of approval! Surely that deserved to be paired with another luxurious fabric – the gorgeous Liberty tana lawn. First produced in the 1930s and now one of the most sought after cottons due its incredibly fine weave and silk-like feel.

Lillibets Millinery is run solely by me, Isobel Robinson, from my home studio in Yorkshire. Each design is handmade with great care and attention to detail which can’t be rushed. The current turnaround time for my Harris Tweed hats is between 1-2 weeks, but if you do need it sooner please get in touch as I may be able to prioritise your order.

Though my hats are tailor made to order, I do allow exchanges or returns within 7 days of receipt. Please notify me of your intention to return/exchange so I can have another size ready for you if needed. The returned hat must be unworn in as new condition with tags still intact.

All hats are sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24 shipping.
Jewellery is posted by 1st class delivery
Please note that delivery times are not guaranteed and shipping will take longer towards Christmas.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
Hats are sent by Royal Mail Tracked services unless stated otherwise and usually take around 1-3 weeks from dispatch.
Jewellery is posted by Royal Mail standard airmail. Please allow extra time for delivery in November and December.
Please note that any customs charges are the responsibility of the buyer.
Refund Policy
What is your returns policy for hats?
I take great care to produce heirloom quality pieces that create a lasting memory of a special event.
I do appreciate that it may be difficult to judge how styles will suit online, so I allow returns/exchanges within 7 days of receipt (overseas customers please contact within 7 days). This excludes any bespoke options beyond the style of fastening or side of head where offered.
Returns must be unworn with tags intact and in the original hat box. Any damage, including to the hat box, will incur a charge to cover replacement costs. All return postage costs are covered by buyer unless faulty.
Bespoke headpieces, or those made in different colours to the listed hats, are strictly non-returnable due to their personalised nature.
What is your returns policy for jewellery?
I am happy to accept returns of unworn jewellery (see exclusions below) within 14 days of receipt (international customers please contact me within 3 days to notify of return, & mark the box as RETURNED ITEM). Items must be returned unworn & in its original packaging.
EXCLUSIONS:
Due to their customised nature, bespoke designs and made-to-order rings are non-returnable unless faulty.
RETURNS POSTAGE
Postage is non-refundable. All return postage costs are covered by buyer unless faulty.
Damaged / Faulty Items
Customer satisfaction is of the greatest importance to me, and I take great pride in knowing my clients look and feel amazing in their new headpieces.
Each of my designs is lovingly handcrafted with attention to detail. Your piece will be carefully inspected and packaged to ensure it reaches you in top condition ready for your event.
In the unlikely event of your item arriving damaged or faulty, please notify me within 48hrs of delivery/collection to arrange an exchange or reach a suitable solution.
