Hand painted and hand crafted Aluminium/sterling silver layered pendant. This pendant is made with hand dyed/painted aluminium and sterling silver chain. Each layer of this pendant has been hand painted, printed and dyed. The larger lower disc is a lovely cornflower blue holly print. The middle layer is a pale lime/apple green and the top layer is electric blue. The width of the lower larger disc is approximately 2.5 cm.
Supplied on a 16″ sterling silver snake chain.

All my aluminium jewellery is created from small panels of hand printed and dyed aluminium. The process can be pretty random, building up layers of pattern in various colours before dip dying and adding dyes to the panel using a brush. Once steam sealed to prevent fading I then select areas of each panel to use in my designs.
This is part of my new ‘water colour’ inspired collection. Panels of aluminium are hand painted with a combination of colours. Colours combine and bleed into each other creating a water colour effect. Each panel created is a one off due to this process and then I select areas to use in my jewellery. All pieces are hand crafted in my Cheshire workshop.
