This Forest Green handmade shawl or wrap is inspired by the light and shade through the trees in a forest glade. A larger piece made with finest Merino, boucle and A grade Mulberry silks on a base of lightweight Margilan silk.
I love the way the light catches the silks and the soft, supple nature of the finished felted fabric, allowing it to be worn in a number of different ways, including on the reverse. This unique piece has been entirely created by hand, taking many hours, thoughtfully laying out the layered fibres of the design, followed by felting and fulling, resulting in this one of a kind piece of wearable textile art. The finished piece measures approximately 120cm x 68cm and is presented, carefully wrapped in pretty tissue and in its own luxury gift box.

This unique piece on wearable textile art can be carefully hand washed in cool water, avoiding rubbing or agitating the fabric. Gently squeeze out the excess water and lay flat to dry.

Shipping is currently set up for the Uk and a number of international destinations, however, I am happy to quote for other countries, depending upon the product. If you would like an item posted to an alternative destination, please contact me and I will be happy to discuss your requirements. Occasionally, larger parcels will require a ParcelForce delivery. All items will be sent via Royal Mail within the UK To international destinations, parcels will be sent Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed For or Royal Mail International as appropriate. As many of my products are one off original pieces of art, I have attempted to select the safest and best value option for secure delivery based on the size and value of my products, and to give you, the customer, peace of mind.
Customers from outside the UK are responsible for paying any import taxes on products into their own countries.
I will always try to use recycled packaging, without compromising security, so your package may not always look as pretty as the contents!
Please note glazed artwork items are currently unavailable for International Shipping.
Please ensure your address is correct at point of order as this will be exactly what is copied, clearly, onto your parcel’s delivery label. I will add my return address on the outside of the package also.
