Who doesn’t love a dog, so this cute boxer dog is smelling some cherry blossom on a tree.
This is made by cutting out a boxer dog shape, then enamel painting it, its then fused in a kiln to seal the paint to the glass.
the background is made using fusing glass, frit which is glass thats ground to a fine frit. The cherry blossom is murrine which is shaped glass. Once all the pieces are fused on to make a background, the dog is then added and fused again. its then finally placed into a lovely wooden frame.
The frame itself measures 22 1/2 cms x 17 1/2 cms
