First Snowfall Forest Hart, embroidery on a lavender bag, Dark woodland scene of wild stag with two deer hinds.
£21.00
The first snowfall of a winter night falls on a proud Stag as the FOREST HART looks towards you on this embroidered lavender bag, while two deer hinds stand behind as if in conversation, knee deep in darkened bracken and the foliage of a wild wood yet to be covered in snow. A story within its stitches. Fabulous to give as a gift for someone, that is, if you can bear to give it away.
This richly embroidered pouch with silver gold thread and snowy fabric, is filled with dried scented Lavender and has a hand twisted and beaded hanging loop / tie.
Lovely to display in a bowl with my other designs or hang in your wardrobe to deter moths or just to enjoy the relaxing scent which can be refreshed by gently squeezing the contents from time to time. 11 cm square.
Available on backorder
The lavender bag featured here has an original embroidered design, drawn and created entirely by me, Pauline Thomas from my GOLD Embroidered Collection. All my designs tell a story within their stitches as a form of textile art. I love to use the highlights of the metallic threads to suggest a three dimensional aspect to the animals that I embroider, which has become the hall mark of what I do.
I have used an amazing rainbow voile fabric and rich metallic threads, so colours and beads may vary slightly from the photos, rarely are any two exactly the same so please expect some slight variations, which adds to their charm and collectability. Measures 11 cm x 11 cm x 4.5 cm
Great to display in a bowl, on cupboard door knobs and in your wardrobe to help deter moths and give off a relaxing scent.
Your order is posted Ist class Royal Mail to be delivered by your postman.
It should last many years, squeeze the pouch gently to refresh the fragrance and keep away from polished surfaces.
This design features on other things that I make too, so take a look at some of the other items in my British Craft House shop
Please note that *Dried Lavender is a prohibited plant material for Australia and New Zealand and so would be confiscated at customs, so to get around this some of my listings have empty to fill yourself options as well, this is the thing to order, if you are looking to send or go to these countries even if it is in your luggage as a gift. Contact me if you need help with this issue. For now I cannot sell lavender filled items to these countries on this listing.
