These are made with a selection of silk kimono fabrics from either recycled vintage kimonos or pre 2000 unused bolts of kimono fabric.
Each scrunchie is approximately 8cm (3 inches) in width & approximately 18cm (7 inches) from outer sides (see photo with ruler)
A good quality 7mm wide flat elastic has been hand & machine stitched together to secure (elastic once sewn is approximately 20cm long)
I have medium thick hair and I find these scrunchies wrap around my pony tail 2 or possibly 3 times. This will vary with different hair types & thickness. Last photo shows me wearing my extra large scrunchie to give an idea of size.
Silk scrunchies are gentle on your hair. These fabrics are really lovely & have good texture which means that they are not as slippery as smooth silk & helps them stay in place when worn. If they do slip, try using a covered band underneath
There may be the very occasional blemish when using recycled materials, however I have been very careful to make sure they are all as perfect condition as possible. Some of the fabrics used come in smaller pieces so the scrunchie may have an extra join to get the length needed (this does not notice amongst the folds)
Cleaning item is done at own risk, but I have tested most fabrics using the following silk wash instructions
Wash each one individually to prevent colour run
Very cool hand wash only using small amount of delicate detergent for silk
Remove excess water by rolling in a towel
Air dry (do not tumble dry)
I try to ensure photos represent items as accurately as possible, however colours may vary slightly depending on device used to view.

Refund Policy
I hope that you will be really delighted with your purchase as all my makes are created with great care. If however there are any problems with an order and you wish to return it, please contact me as soon as possible within 14 days of receipt. After contact, the item must then be returned in its original condition within 30 days of purchase.
Shipping costs cannot be refunded unless the item is faulty.
If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Refund will then be made once item has been returned.
