Etched Silver Whitby Jet Statement Ring – Magwitchery

Spectacular Etched Sterling Silver Statement Ring with Pear shaped hand cut genuine Whitby Jet stone UK size M. Classic yet unique and a one off piece.

Beautiful genuine hand cut Whitby Jet stone is approx 15mm x 10mm set at a slant in a thick bezel.  Whitby Jet is fossilised wood (ie wood that has turned to stone over millennia) from a prehistoric tree.

The 6mm wide band is etched by me to my own design based on the bud laden branches of the old cherry tree in the garden. The whole piece has a slightly Gothic feel to it.

Please note that the flecks in the photos are silver dust in my studio and the stone itself is pure black.

Hallmarked by the London Assay office including my own makers mark. It weighs 6.6g.  Under UK Law all silver pieces over 7.78g must be Hallmarked
