Stunning bookmatched English Boxwood butterfly with an Olive Ash body. This is displayed on a live edge Ash plinth.
Bookmatched means you take a piece of wood cut it in half and open it like a book so the grain pattern is a mirror image. Very rare to find English Boxwood with this dark grain pattern as it’s usually a very pale cream colour. The butterfly it self is 6 inch tall. The whole piece itself is 7.5 inch tall and 7 inch wide
