Embroidered Appliqued picture of Lindisfarne Castle at Sunrise

I love Lindisfarne or Holy Island in Northumberland – it is one of my favourite places.  I tend to take many photographs and I used one of them as the inspiration for this piece of embroidered art.

I created the colours of the sky and sea at sunrise using various fabrics. I then appliqued the castle and the boat on top. I added embroidered flowers in the forground and birds above to give depth.

I have framed the piece in an 8″x8″ box frame with a glass front.

I will send this packaged very securely in a box, bubble wrap and postal bag. I use Royal mail 1st class delivery service.
