A treat for divers to see while exploring in the waters of Indonesia, this stylalised peacock mantis shrimp has been enamelled on a 12 cm copper tile using stencils.
I like to let the copper shine through in these tiles wherever possible using transparent enamel. The properties of enamel heated to different temperatures have given the varying textures, colours and effects to the bare copper.
Available ready for hanging on a 20 cm white painted wooden block.

These tiles are made individually by hand and will have differences each time I make them. If there is more than one of a pattern available, you will be able to chose the actual one to be sent. The colour of the enamel will change in different lighting and veiwing directions.
This tile is presented in an eco-friendly box in tissue paper
