This blackwork embroidery chart brings traditional 16th Century Elizabethan blackwork concepts into an up-to-date, fresh, modern design.
This design could be stitched completely in black or in colour choices to suit your own taste.
The kit comes with full instructions, materials (listed below) and a free ‘Beginner Instruction Stitching Guide’ – taking you through the stitching basics (using backstitch or Holbein – double running stitch) to help you recreate this pattern.
Design size:
Stitches – 48 wide x 46 high
Size shown stitched on 14 count Aida 9.0cm (3.5″) x 8.5cm (3.5″)
(28 Count Evenweave fabric could be used also).
(Extra fabric allowance included for tensioning in hoop/ frame whilst stitching, and for mounting the finished item).
