A simple sea glass necklace consisting of a lovely, chunky piece of bubbly and lined olive-green sea glass hung from a sterling silver bail and 45cm sterling silver chain.

An unusual piece of sea-glass that has been in my collection for a while, this chunky, tear-drop shaped olive-green coloured sea glass is complete with bubbles typical of older glass, and some lined surface texture on one side. As with all the sea-glass I use, this piece is just as I found it (apart from the drilled hole!). I uncovered it whilst combing the gravel and rock pools on the beach at Lyme Regis in Dorset.
As it is such an unusual chunky and beautifully smooth piece, I felt it didn’t need much other than a chain, and something to thread the chain through – so I drilled it, attached a sterling silver bail and hung the pendant from a sterling silver chain, and now it’s the star of the show!

Dimensions
Pendant measures approx. 3.5cm from the top of the bail to the bottom tip of the sea glass.
Sea-glass measures approx. 2.8cam at longest point, 1.5cm at widest point (depth approx. 0.4-0.6cm)
Sterling silver chain measures 45cm. including clasp.

Items will be processed and despatched within 3 working days and shipped by Royal Mail Tracked 24 as standard. Shipping is included in the price of all purchases unless stated or agreed otherwise, e.g. if you request to upgrade to special delivery.
I aim to minimise the amount of packaging I use when sending items to reduce waste, whilst also seeking to present the everyday treasures beautifully, and to treat the jewellery as the delicate and beautiful treasure it is, ensuring its safe passage through the British postal system!
All materials used for gift wrapping and packing are made from recycled and/or recyclable materials, which are sustainably sourced and British made where possible!
