Burgundy fabric covered trinket box

This burgundy fabric covered decorative trinket box is square and has a removable lid. It is padded and fully lined.

I make these boxes from scratch, starting with measuring and cutting mountboard pieces. I then glue these pieces together to form the basis of the box and lid and attach a layer of soft wadding to all surfaces apart from the base.

Next, I stretch fabric over all box and lid surfaces and finally hand sew the seams to secure them.

For the exterior of this box I’ve chosen a burgundy modern floral design cotton fabric and the interior surfaces are covered with a co-ordinating cream floral fabric. All fabrics are 100% cotton.

Entirely handmade, this box would make a wonderful gift. It could be used to store all manner of items such as coasters, pairs of glasses, small remote controls…the list is endless! It would also be a perfect, reusable gift container.

The overall size of this box is 6 inches (15.25 cm) wide by 6 inches (15.25 cm) deep by 5 inches (12.75 cm) high. The lid itself is 6 inches (15.25cm) wide by 6 inches (15.25cm) deep by 2 inches (5 cm) high and it fits onto the base, which is 5.25 inches (13.5 cm) wide by 5.25 inches (13.5 cm) deep by 4.25 inches ( 10.5 cm) high.

Shipping Policy

All orders are shipped using tracked services.
Deliveries are shipped by DPD or Royal Mail, depending on the parcel size and destination. Deliveries to UK addresses are normally within 1-2 days after dispatch and deliveries outside the UK are normally within 7-10 days after dispatch, although delivery times are not guaranteed and may be extended if there is a delay in clearing customs.
The customer is responsible for any customs fees.

Refund Policy

If on receipt of your order you have changed your mind about purchasing it or there are any other issues, please email me at fsbm@mail.com within 14 days of delivery and if necessary I will confirm the return address. You are entitled to a full refund if items are returned to me undamaged and in the original packaging within 30 days of delivery. You are responsible for the cost of return postage unless an item was damaged when you received it - in which case, please send me photographs of the item and its exterior and interior packaging as I will need all of these to make a claim with the delivery company.
If you are returning a shipment from a country outside of the UK, please clearly mark your parcel "Returned Goods" to avoid a customs charge, which will be deducted from any refund that is due to you.
