Recycled bronze is a clay-like material made of bronze powder which has been reclaimed and recycled from bronze waste, water-soluble organic binders are added producing a metal clay. The clay is then rolled and shaped using texture mats, molds or organic items, leaves and flowers, which are impressed into the clay before being fired in a digitally controlled kiln. The binders vaporise, the powder sinters, and the soft clay turns into real solid bronze : producing a ready to wear environmentally friendly and sustainable piece of jewellery.
