Blue trollite gemstone set in a silver necklace which I have handmade using traditional jewellery making techniques. This trollite gem has a gradient of colours across the surface from blue into cream to grey.  This gem reminds me of a beach scene and I set this piece in a scallop edge silver setting to echo the waves breaking on the shore.

The silver is pushed right over the stone in what is called a rubover setting making the gem really secure. 

This necklace has been fully hallmarked at the London Assay office and is stamped on the back of the pendant.

The setting has a silver link with a sparkly finish from which 3 silver rings suspend the pendant from a sterling silver belcher style chain. I offer 18, 20 or 22 inch or an extender option that you can wear at different lengths and you can choose your chain length preference from the drop down menu.

The pendant measures approx 2.2cm across the widest point of the silver loop and approx 4.5cm from the top of the triple loop to the bottom of the setting.

Gemstone Details

Trollite is a rare mineral found in Brazil. It is made up of a combination of lepidolite, lazulite and blue tourmaline and the mix of minerals gives the trollite its graduation of colours from darker blue; to paler through to white.  Due to this mix no two pieces will be the same.

 

Trollite is thought to bring a calming energy and can be a useful meditation tool.

Packaging and Shipping

I am more than happy to send any item as a gift directly to the recipient with a message from you.  Please ensure you include any message and provide the correct delivery address when checking out.

Shipping within the UK is included in the price; items worth up to £60 will be sent via Royal Mail first class post. Any item/s over £60 will be sent using Royal Mail Special Delivery which will need to be signed for on arrival.

Jewellery Care

Please take care not to get products such as hairspray, perfume and cleaning products near your jewellery; they can affect the silver by tarnishing it and could affect any gemstone colours and surface.

I would recommend removing jewellery before bathing, swimming and going to bed and storing in the box when not being worn.

As everything is handmade I can make adjustments such as a longer chain.  Please get in touch to discuss any alterations.

All jewellery orders will be sent in a gift box tied with a ribbon and despatched via Royal Mail within 1-3 business days. Any exceptions to this will be specified in the listing itself and includes any bespoke items or jewellery made to order.

Shipping is included in the UK. Orders up to and including £100 will be sent first class and anything over this value will be sent via Special Delivery and need to be signed for upon arrival.

I will update the order as soon as an item is despatched and advise of the tracking numbers for special delivery items. Once despatched please be aware the arrival time of any orders is out of my control and I am therefore unable to guarantee delivery times.

Privacy Policy
When you place an order with me through my British Craft House store I receive the following details so that I can process your order: name, address, email address, your user name, payment information and if different the recipients name and email address.
We will only use the information received to process and advise of information relating to your order and the shipping of this.

Order information will be retained for accounts and tax purposes and we have a legal requirement to keep this for 7 years. After this time the information will be shredded.
If at any point you believe the information we possess on you is incorrect you can request to see this information and have it corrected or deleted. I take great care with everything that I make and want you to love your new piece of jewellery; so if for any reason you don't please get in touch as soon as possible to arrange an exchange or refund.

Items MUST be returned in their original condition and packaging.

Please let me know of your intention to return an item within 14 days of receiving it and ensure it is returned to me within 28 days of your original order. Please note shipping costs are non refundable unless the item is faulty.

Silver, gemstone and pearls need to be treated with care and to this end a care card will be sent with your order to help keep your jewellery looking its best. Returns will not be accepted for items that have been mistreated and uncared for.
