Blue Labradorite Gemstone Necklace Handmade Silver Pendant

I set this large labradorite gemstone in a silver necklace which I have handmade using traditional jewellery making techniques. This labradorite gem has a grey base colour with a strong blue flash right across the surface as it catches the light.   I have tried to capture the differing colours within this gemstone in the accompanying photos (they definitely don’t do it justice!) but please ask if you have any questions.

The sterling silver setting is attached to a large beaded silver link from which 3 silver rings suspend the pendant from an 18 inch sterling silver belcher style chain as standard but you can choose a longer chain or an extender option from the drop down if you prefer.

 I set this piece in a fancy crown style edged setting to show off as much of the gemstone as possible.  The silver is pushed over the stone making the setting really secure. 

This necklace has been hallmarked at the London Assay office.  The hallmark itself is in the back of the main pendant section of this piece.

The pendant measures approx 31mm at the widest part of the gemstone and approx 59mm from the top of the double loops to the bottom of the setting.

Gemstone Details

Labradorite is a gemstone with a grey body colour however when light enters the gem an optical effect known as labradoresence occurs and shows flashes of colour.  This can vary in hue from yellows, blues, greens and purples. This particular gem has a pretty blue tone right over the surface from the light interaction.

This pendant has been handmade in sterling silver and is suspended on an 18 inch sterling silver chain.

I am more than happy to send any item as a gift directly to the recipient with a message from you.  Please ensure you include any message and provide the correct delivery address when checking out.

Your item/s will be sent in a gift box tied with a ribbon.

Shipping within the UK is included in the price; items worth up to £60 will be sent via Royal Mail first class post. Any item/s over £60 will be sent using Royal Mail Special Delivery which will need to be signed for on arrival.

Jewellery Care

Please take care not to get products such as hairspray, perfume and cleaning products near your jewellery; they can affect the silver by tarnishing it and could affect any gemstone colours and surface.

I would recommend removing jewellery before bathing, swimming and going to bed and storing in the box when not being worn.

As everything is handmade I can make adjustments such as a longer chain.  Please get in touch to discuss any alterations.

All jewellery orders will be sent in a gift box tied with a ribbon and despatched via Royal Mail within 1-3 business days. Any exceptions to this will be specified in the listing itself and includes any bespoke items or jewellery made to order.

Shipping is included in the UK. Orders up to and including £60 will be sent first class and anything over this value will be sent via Special Delivery and need to be signed for upon arrival.

I will update the order as soon as an item is despatched and advise of the tracking numbers for special delivery items. Once despatched please be aware the arrival time of any orders is out of my control and I am therefore unable to guarantee delivery times.

Privacy Policy
When you place an order with me through my British Craft House store I receive the following details so that I can process your order: name, address, email address, your user name, payment information and if different the recipients name and email address.
We will only use the information received to process and advise of information relating to your order and the shipping of this.

Order information will be retained for accounts and tax purposes and we have a legal requirement to keep this for 7 years. After this time the information will be shredded.

I take great care with everything that I make and want you to love your new piece of jewellery; so if for any reason you don't please get in touch as soon as possible to arrange an exchange or refund.

Items MUST be returned in their original condition and packaging.

Please let me know of your intention to return an item within 14 days of receiving it and ensure it is returned to me within 28 days of your original order. Please note shipping costs are non refundable unless the item is faulty.

Silver, gemstone and pearls need to be treated with care and to this end a care card will be sent with your order to help keep your jewellery looking its best. Returns will not be accepted for items that have been mistreated and uncared for.
