A beautiful, handmade fused glass art work with a black, box frame. This forest scene is completely made from glass. The glass picture depicts birch trees in a forest at Autumn. Can you see the orange and purple glass that represents the leaves? You can almost feel the cold air!
The glass measures approximately 13.5cm by 13.5 cm ( 5×5 inches) and the black box frame 22.5 cm by 22.5 cm
(9x 9 inches) This picture would make a fabulous housewarming gift.
This picture was handmade by me in my home studio. Each piece of glass was hand cut and carefully placed on a base of clear glass. I used a variety of different sizes and colours to get the effect I wanted. It was then fused in my kiln for almost 24 hours, I fused it at a temperature that left the picture with lots of texture.
Once fired it was glued to the front of a box frame.
