Buy yourself a little piece of history with a Dorset Button Charm. Whole families in Dorset would be making them in their homes to earn a living until machinery took over and the skills were lost.
The W.I. revived the craft of making them. I taught myself how to do them and now I just love making them and am passionate about keeping the skills alive.
Each button measures approx. 25mm (1”) the total hanging length is approx. 5cm (2”)

I have made these Dorset Buttons on 25mm brass rings using a variety of colour changing Pearl cotton threads which makes each button totally individual.
The finished buttons have been fastened to lobster claw catches to enable you to move it easily from bag to bag, onto zip pulls or spiral bound notebooks or journals, to mark you place or purely to decorate it.
The total length is approx. 2” (5cm)
Your charm will be sent wrapped in tissue in an organza bag.

Shipping Policy
Unless otherwise stated all of the items for sale in my store are finished items and ready for shipping by Royal Mail within 1-3 business days, I cannot be held responsible for delays that are beyond my control.
Refund Policy
I really want you to be happy with your purchase but if you are not I will gladly accept returns, please cancel within 2 days or notify me within 14 days if the item has been shipped, the item must be returned within 30 days of receipt in the original packaging at your own cost.
A full refund of the cost of the item and outgoing shipping will be made on receipt by me of the item, it must be undamaged, unused and still in it’s original packaging.
Damaged in transit.
If your item arrives damaged please notify me straightaway. If possible I will replace it and refund the postage. Some items are one of a kind therefore a replacement is not an option in this case I will refund all costs.
