Argentium elongated horseshoe link necklace with fine hammer detail.
Argentium elongated horseshoe link necklace, with fine hammered detail on both sides.
This is a labour intensive process. Each link is made completely from melted scrap Argentium, rolled into thick sheet, sawn into rough shape.
The rough shape is then hydraulically pressed, annealed and trimmed multiple times. Afterwards each link is filed and hammered detail is added on both sides. An 18mm sterling silver lobster claw is added for ease of closing.
The links are a variation on an earring link made from a vintage die.
The necklace is presented in a black leatherette double sided box as shown.
