This 22 cm round bowl with gently sloping sides has a central swirling abstract design inspired by pictures of Nebula in space. I have tried to capture the bright blue, red and orange hues shown in the images from the Hubble telescope in this fused glass piece using glass powders which were mixed together in a little water, frozen in a round and then fused in the kiln onto a piece of black and clear streaky glass to give a sky at night border.
