A pair of budgies, one blue and white and one green and yellow, have been needle felted from woollen fibres. The budgies are approximately life-size and sit on a needle felted perch mounted on a rustic wooden base. The Budgies have wool wrapped wire feet that have been waxed to give a hard, smooth finish. The tail feathers are made from woollen fibres with a central wire core. This ornament measures approximately 25cm tall x 17cm wide.
