In this small painting the Kilry Stone takes pride of place.  The acrylic paint has been applied with twigs and knives to indicate the rough surface of the stone, with hints of grey, blue and red poking through, providing highlights.  The trees and grasses have an almost blurry look which provides a cool backdrop to this ancient monument.  I have called this original painting, ‘The Kilry Stone.’

I use Royal Mail Tracked 24 services for all artwork.

Framed or canvas paintings will be covered with glassine paper before being carefully encased in bubble wrap (or equivalent). I re-use packaging where possible. The artwork will then be secured in a heavy duty mailing box.

Unframed mounted artwork on paper will be packaged in a protective sleeve and then placed in a reinforced, hard-backed envelope (or equivalent).
