Copper jewellery does tarnish but can be polished with metal polish, a soft cloth or wire wool to bring it back to it’s original colour.
Recycled copper is a clay-like material made of copper powder which has been reclaimed and recycled from copper waste, water-soluble organic binders are added producing a metal clay. The clay is then rolled and shaped using texture mats, molds or organic items, which are impressed into the clay before being fired in a digitally controlled kiln. The binders vaporise, the powder sinters, and the soft clay turns into real solid copper : producing a ready to wear environmentally friendly and sustainable piece of jewellery.
