This beautiful teardrop pendant necklace is handmade with a vibrant turquoise gemstone bead and hangs on a silver plated chain.

I have crafted silver filled wire in to a beautiful teardrop shape, added an elegant swirl design and a stunning bright turquoise gemstone bead. Handmade using intricate wire wrapping and wire weaving techniques.  It hangs from a silver plated chain.

This pendant measures approximately 4 cm (1 1/2 inches) in length from the very top of the pendant and a width of 1 cm (3/8 inch). The silver plated  chain is approximately 44 cm (17.5 inches).

Silver filled jewellery making wire consists of 10% sterling silver outer layer bonded to a copper core. This construction not only gives a beautiful appearance it makes it more durable and longer lasting than silver plated.
