Framed Wire Art – Bird and Flower

This unique framed wire art will brighten up any home and is a one of kind piece.
The bird is made using copper and other coloured wire and in this case is accompanied by a button flower.
The background is foam covered by jute to give a rustic feel. Each element of the picture is ‘stitched’ in place with wire.
The frame is white acrylic with a glass front, measuring approx 17.5cm square. The aperture is approx 14cm square.
NOTE: the photographs have been taken without the glass front, in order to avoid glare.
Whilst I don’t/can’t re-create pieces exactly (wire won’t bend the same way twice anyway!) I will consider consider commissions for a similar piece to suit colour preferences – please send a message to enquire.

Copper coloured wire has been twisted and then shaped by hand into the bird outline. The bird has been filled with thinner coloured wire – pink and mauve- to create the ‘feathers’ and a glass crystal bead added for the eye. More copper coloured wire is twisted and added for the legs and feet. The yellow button flower is atop a green coloured wire twisted stem.
Each element is then wire ‘stitched’ into place on a background of jute fabric, before being mounted in the box frame. The frame is acrylic with a glass front.
Because each element is formed individually by hand, you can be sure of having a completely unique piece!

You are entitled to return your purchase for a refund for whatever reason. Please let me know within 14 days of receipt that you plan to do this.
Ensure the item is returned to Dangles in it’s original, unused condition - I recommend using the same packaging it arrived in and the same method of postage.
Shipping is non-refundable, unless the item is faulty.
