A handsome kingfisher model captured mid flight after a successful fishing trip. This kingfisher has been sculpted from woollen fibres using a barbed felting needle in a process known as needle felting. The king fisher has wet felted wings which are wired along the leading edge allowing them to be gently posed. The beak is formed from silk clay, the eyes beaded and the legs and feet made from wire. The kingfisher is approximately life size and is mounted using a clear perspex rod on a rustic wood slice.

A handsome, colourful kingfisher captured in flight after a succesful fishing dive. This kingfisher has been needle felted using woollen fibres sculpted into shape using a barbed felting needle. Once the basic shape has been formed, a top coat in appropriate colours is added. The kingfisher has a silk clay beak, beaded eyes and wired feet and legs. The wings have been wet felted and contain a wire along the leading edge allowing them to be gently posed. The kingfisher is mounted using a clear perspex rod on a rustic wooden slice. The kingfisher is approximately life size with a wingspan (as posed) of 29cm, the whole ornament measures approximately 25cm tall.

Refund Policy
You can cancel the order and get a refund from the maker within fourteen days of receipt of the item, provided the item has not been used and items must be returned in unused condition to receive a refund. Faulty items can be returned within six months of payment being made. Cost of return postage will not be refunded unless item is faulty.
